Easter SERVICE

It’s our great pleasure to invite you and your family to join us on SATURDAY , March 30th 2024,  for our Easter Service at Jericho Ridge Community Church, 2:30 PM (PST)

Easter is the time for us to gather and remember that our Saviour, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for our sins and then three days later rose from the grave, conquering death and giving us new life. We hope that you are able to join us.

Possible Church Rental in Cloverdale

We are hoping to change locations and meeting times hopefully in march. The meeting with the pastor and elder of the church we are hoping to rent in Cloverdale went very well! The church’s elder board will meet on February 28 and we will know on February 29 if we can rent their church on Sunday afternoons.
Thank you for your ongoing prayers.

Family Day Carnival

On Feb 19th 2024 we hosted a Family Day Carnival for our community. It was an amazing success all thanks to the organizers and our church volunteers! We had games, prizes, face painting and lots of laughter. We were able to share our core values through this event by loving God, loving each other and loving all. We hope to do another free community event at our new location in the summer of 2024 to serve the new community in that area.

Ordination of Job Ayuba to Associate Pastor

On January 13, 2024 about 100 enthusiastic people gathered at New Life Christian Fellowship / GCI Surrey, BC for a very special and joyous service. National Director Bill Hall braved the challenging weather travelling to BC, along with others from Quebec City, Ottawa, Edmonton, Texas and Michigan, to join our special celebration. After his sermon, Bill Hall ordained Job Alimasi Ayuba to the position of elder and commissioned him as Associate Pastor of our congregation. Job's long-time mentor and pastor from Malawi Silvester Nkosi testified of Job's long-term commitment to Jesus Christ and service in ministry, including leading youth groups and camps in Malawi as well as serving as deacon of the congregation in the Dzaleka Refugee camp where he lived with his wife Imani and their children. In July 2019 New Life Christian Fellowship sponsored Job and Imani and their family to immigrate to Canada, where Job and Imani have continued to serve in the church and in the community. We were delighted that six of Job's coworkers attended the service as well as friends from near and far. Our Swahili brethren spent many hours preparing a great feast for after the service that was greatly enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Job and Imani, and we pray that God will bless them richly as they continue in loving service to all.
